| 240598 | 2004-05-31 07:49:00 | Hi Guys, I'm in the process of fixing a friend's laptop (Acer TravelMate230, WinXP Home, NAV2002 with Liveupdate subscription till September of this year). It has a problem where NAV liveupdate will download the program update, but it will not instal properly. The following error message comes up: Any suggestions?? Windows 2000 Service Pack 1 NAVNT 8.00 LiveUpdate was not able to complete this update. Please contact Technical Support and provide all information displayed on this screen. For contact information, go to Help->Technical Support from your Symantec product. | 240601 | 2004-05-31 10:44:00 | > Thank Stu. I've just reinstalled it There is quite a bit of stuff on the Symantec site about uninstalling NAV, incl a couple of progs to deal with problems a bit like yours. Search on the site for Uninstal NAV. You may need a file called Rnav2003.exe. Cheers T |
