| 241669 | 2004-06-04 14:32:00 | Well, no guarantee, but this may be of help ;- How do I set the clock? There are several ways of setting the clock, depending on the model number. Method 1 Press and hold BAND and DISP to display the clock. Press and hold BAND and DISP until the display flashes. SEARCH left to adjust the hours; right to adjust the minutes. Press BAND to set. Method 2 Same as method 1 except press DISP to set. Method 3 Press ADJ. SEARCH left or right to select clock and press ENT. SEARCH left or right to select the hour or minute. Turn rotary knob clockwise or counterclockwise to set the correct time. Press ENT to store time. Press ADJ to return to the previous mode. Method 4 Press and hold BAND and FUNCTION to display clock. Press and hold BAND and FUNCTION until the display flashes. SEARCH left to adjust hours; right to adjust minutes. Press BAND to store. Method 5 While the display is showing the clock, press and hold the CLOCK button until the minutes flash. Press the CLOCK button to adjust the minutes. When the CLOCK button is released for 5 seconds the hours will flash. Press the CLOCK button to adjust the hours. When the CLOCK button is released for 5 seconds the time will be set. | 241673 | 2004-07-06 04:15:00 | Thankyou for the replies, non worked, I have since found out and will share this with others, ADDZEST DMX5655z, to set clock: press adjust for 2 sec's, displays ANA, press left arrow clock will display, press pause/play clock will flash, select hour/min with left/right arrow, adjust up/down arrow, press pause/play to lock in, then any key to exit. | j.w.knowles (3251) | ||
| 241674 | 2004-07-06 04:57:00 | That is handy information, It must have been a crusade to locate it ! I will personally use it to assure myself that Clarion is not on my preferred vendor list. One wonders at the mental make-up of those who decree the set-up routines like this. That some one could devise this procedure is odd; to have a company that puts it onto the market speaks volumes for their attitude to the consumer. To then not bother to make this unintuitive rigmarole freely available on their web site says much about the company mind set. A pity you couldn't buy the set with a post dated cheque which must be presented at the Taupo South branch of the Antarctic Bank between 11:36 and 11:48 PM.
