| 241655 | 2004-06-04 08:39:00 | Windows XP home edition. 256mg of Ram. Only 50% hard drive occupied. Problem. Some programmes not loading. Some programmes won't close down despite CTRL ALT DEL procedure. Symptoms seemed to occur when installed AVG Pro and Zone Alarm Pro. Tried system restore and message informed that system could not be restored to the day before. Could either of these new programmes be the cause ? Any advice welcomed. Cheers........heaton |

| 241656 | 2004-06-04 08:52:00 | All other anti-virus and firewalls, if any, completely uninstalled? Done a scan for adaware/spyware lately? Windows up to date re patches and temp files, cache, etc, cleaned, disc scanned for errors and defragged? Did you get any error messages while installing AVG and ZA. Might pay to check both, but especially ZA's site for issues. Cheers Murray P |
