| 241330 | 2004-06-03 04:21:00 | The easiest way is to bring up the Control Panel and click on Sounds / Multimedia (Depending on your OS) and adjust the "New Mail Notification". IIRC, both Outlook and Outlook Express use this sound :-) Cheers Chill. |

| 241331 | 2004-06-03 04:24:00 | control panel>audio and sound devices>sounds>Then scroll through the list of events untill you find new mail notification,click on it,then cycle through the available sounds in the sounds box. If you wanted to use a custom sound i presume you could drop a wav of your choice into the directory that these are stoed in and select it in the same fashion. I know at one time i was overtaken with boredom and changed all my system sounds to farts,thunder,gunshots,homer singing and toilets being flushed.... |
