241608 2004-06-08 02:20:00 oh, my bad, I though you download it off the IRC. Oh, sorry about that. Look for me (in real name) in the newsgroup - is your name collin by any chance?

BTW, it would be safe to answer your question outside this newsgroup.

241609 2004-06-08 03:56:00 Naaah... Why bother with IRC.. Direct from Microsoft here :-)

Newsgroup? Im not part of any of the newsgroups.. I trial the software and feed back to Microsoft once in a blue moon when they ask. Collin? Not me....

If you want to email me, then sure, my email is in my PressF1 Profile (Click my Username)

Cheers

Chill.

241610 2004-06-08 05:59:00 Just for the record:
Windows XP Service Pack 2 Release Candidate 1 is build 2096.
I am currently running build 2082.

However, since then there have been several major releases. Build 2142 is expected to be the last release before Release Candidate 2.

I am downloading build 2142 now :-)

Can I ask where you downloaded your build from, as there have been reports of bogus service packs that have viruses included etc....

I have heard from two places that a collection of Viruses was created and when you run the xpsp2.exe file, you're infected with around 50-60 different viruses?
