| 241610 | 2004-06-08 05:59:00 | Just for the record: Windows XP Service Pack 2 Release Candidate 1 is build 2096. I am currently running build 2082. However, since then there have been several major releases. Build 2142 is expected to be the last release before Release Candidate 2. I am downloading build 2142 now :-) Can I ask where you downloaded your build from, as there have been reports of bogus service packs that have viruses included etc.... I have heard from two places that a collection of Viruses was created and when you run the xpsp2.exe file, you're infected with around 50-60 different viruses? |
