| 241485 | 2004-06-04 03:02:00 | The thread is not intended to be read by anti-MS users to prevent arguments I'd just like to, first of all, congratulate the team at Microsoft New Zealand. I saw some evaluation software available free of charge, but wasn't sure whether there was postage involved. So I gave the call. The girl on the other line was polite and helpful. After that, I went back onto their website to order 5 sets of different Microsoft products, ranging from 30 day trials to 120 day trial. To my suprise they arrived this morning at 7:30, exactly 16 hours after ordering (the confirmation email said 24-48 hours, I was still think, 'bet it'd be more than that'). All nicely wrapped, and everything. On top of that, they used a Trackpack courier requiring signitures. Having just recently sent one, I know exactly how much they cost. All to my door, free of charge. WOW! Thanks once again, Now, I had not realised they were free because I remember they used to be free. This was until yesterday when I got the MS Partners newsletter in email. So now, I suggest everyone, before you rush down to the shops, you might want to have a try on the evaluation software first. Available here (www.microsoft.com) And last but not least, I hope that the next good thing MS will do is lower it's prices. Until then, I can only dream about buying the real version of the five products I ordered. :) |

No doubt thats the only reason why Bill has become the richest. But not anymore (recent news) probably being giving out more CDs than they thought people would ask. |
