| 242052 | 2004-06-05 10:33:00 | I am currently running the latest Internet explorer and Opera 7.23 sucessfully on my XP pro toshiba laptop. I have recently tried both Opera 7.50 (the newest version) and MyIE2 both of which setup properly but will not load web pages. I get the "Cannot connect to server" responce from both browsers does anyone have any ideas as to why this is? I have etrust antivirus on the go and Spybot search and distroy set to block adds and some browser helper objects. I run my laptop on a server at work and on a dial up at home. I have checked the server settings and cannot find anything wrong. Can anyone suggest what my prob could be. Many thanks. New Teach. |

| 242054 | 2004-06-05 12:30:00 | Where are you getting this error. at home or /work/school ? chances are you are working through a proxy (as we do) at work and at home you will not, I recommend that you talk to your network manager he/she will know the proxy settings for your network or help you set it up for home |
