| 241825 | 2004-06-04 10:37:00 | Can someone outline the main differences between xp home and pro please. Am still stuck in win98 world but the laptop I am looking at comes with xp home and I've been given the option to go to pro for a few hundred more bucks, is it worth it? Using computer for work (accounts software, word, excell an email) Cheers Mik |

| 241829 | 2004-06-04 11:35:00 | The main difference is that while XP Home is capable of peer to peer networking, it is not capable of connecting to a Windows domain as XP Pro is. | JohnD (509) | ||
