| 242518 | 2004-06-07 09:03:00 | In the process of cleaning up after an electrician (grrrrr.... another story), I am needing to repair the phone wiring where it comes into the house. The Telecom cable from outside contains 4 wires (black, yellow, tan, white). From there, there is a huge birds nest of amassed wires, joiners etc. including the DSL filter and two test termination units. What I would like to know is .... should the wiring look like this: [pre] External Cable ==++======= DSL socket || ++== DSL filter ===== phone socket |
