242640 2004-06-07 09:25:00 You know, it is much safer for your skin if you use a chemical solution to fry off the wart. You should be able to get something suitable from the chemist. :) Jen C (20)

242643 2004-06-07 09:35:00 Well in Hawkes Bay we can get it from BOC Gases Ltd.

For your wart issue, go to a Dr. and get them to blast it with liquid nitrogen - it works very well.

242644 2004-06-07 09:36:00 What causes them in the first place?

A bandaid on for several weeks does just as good a job as it dries it out that way and it just falls off :O

242645 2004-06-07 09:38:00 Also, for your reference, apparently the dry ice costs about $4 per kg.

And as Jen C said, a chemical solution or liquid nitrogen will be safer. The liquid nitrogen is "sprayed" through a fine nozzle, so it only kills the wart, and doesn't damage the rest of your skin/flesh.

242646 2004-06-07 10:42:00 Yep BOC has it, we use it for bombs at parties.
Tip a handfull of dry ice into a 1.5 liter soft drink bottle add warm water and screw on lid and quickly throw.
Livens parties up but you wouldnt want any war vets there as the noise is frightening.
