| 242206 | 2004-06-06 07:03:00 | I have two computers running Windows 2000 Professional on a home network and they both have Red Alert 2 on them but when i try to play over the network you can't join any games eg when both computers are in the lobby you can see the other computer is connected but when one person makes a game to join you can't join it because it isn't there(or so it seems) can someone please help me!? | Codex (3761) | ||
| 242207 | 2004-06-06 07:54:00 | We had similar problems with RA2. Firstly make sure your firewall isn't the problem. IIRC, RA2 still uses IPX for its networking so make sure you have it installed. If you still have trouble, in the IPX settings change the internal network number to be the same for both machines, and change the frame type from "auto detect" to 802.3 on both machines. |
