| 242231 | 2004-06-06 12:15:00 | I have read that Belarc Advisor is of limited use because it only "sees" what Windows already sees. Other utils are said to be better, including the 2 mentioned above plus Aida32 (or Aida16 if you have a FAT16 system) and Unknown Device Identifier (free from zhangduo.com). Aida is apparently no longer readily available (but search PressF1 for 'Aida' - there was a thread on its availability about a month ago). I looked at Sandra and Everest before remembering that I already have Aida 32 in my downloads folder, which is where it's been, uninstalled - among numerous other freebies and shareware - for some months.
