| 242712 | 2004-06-08 02:06:00 | Hi, I'm transferring from Microsoft ME to WIN2K. At the moment I can choose to boot either O/S this is because I don't have OUT Look in 2000. Is there any way I can transfer OUTLook, to WIN2K without running the setup disk. I mean like, it's all sitting there on the same harddrive..... init. Thanks for any help, in advance. | 242713 | 2004-06-08 03:05:00 | I assume you mean Outlook and not Outlook Express. Copying it over will not work, it'll just be a chunk of code without any association to the new OS. Install it new on Win2k, update it to get the latest patches then export your mail, folders from ME to you win2k partition then import the .pst file into the new Outlook. Cheers Murray P |
