| 242691 | 2004-06-08 03:05:00 | The definition of "value" is "what a willing buyer will pay a willing seller" . In auctions it is assumed that the buyers are "informed": they know what they are bidding on . As a regular at "real" auctions I know to watch out for current retail prices of anything I consider buying . I suppose this seller can argue that what is being sold is "information" . According to the PM, we are now an "information economy", so we don't need to produce anything; the world is queuing up to buy our information, even if they don't want our lamb, fruit, cheese, steel, . . . :D |

| 242692 | 2004-06-08 03:11:00 | You should see my old boy at auctions,Funnist thing i ever saw was him bid like crazy on a motorbike only to find out later he had purchased a box of bicycle bits for 50 times there worth. Or the 14 high chassis ex-army trailer that sat out the back for 15 years before we cut them up for scrap. Meh heh heh. |

| 242695 | 2004-06-08 08:25:00 | > You have to be a Microsoft Partner to subscribe to > it. True, and I'm sure if Microsoft found out who was selling it they'd lose their Partner priviledges too. To clarify though, the action pack is full-version software. A lot of it in fact. Not trial or time-limited software. It runs on a subscription (so after a year you have to purchase a new license, much like a lot of other corporate software), but its still the real-deal. Mike. |
