243234 2004-06-10 03:10:00 Just thought some of you may find this amusing. We went to order more reflex a4 printer/copier paper today. Seems they have completely run out of stock in NZ.

Maybe I should have relied on Zena after all...

243235 2004-06-10 03:31:00 I would much rather be stuck on a desert island (or office for that matter) with Zena then with a wad of reflex brand paper.

And she even has good taste in music.

243237 2004-06-10 05:00:00 Mine is called Orange .

And im amazed that people prefer certain brands of paper when it comes to the cheap stuff .

I just grab whatever is on display at the office supply store .

243239 2004-06-10 06:08:00 You tend to discover which is good and which is dodgy when duplex printing.

Reflex is fine

Canon is better

El-Cheapo is bad.

Poor paper quality causes many jams due to paper curling on second time through when printing reverse side.

DSE prices on Canon paper are about the same as most el-cheapo types.

243241 2004-06-10 06:20:00 I found the Canon paper a bit too white and transparent so went back to reflex. Canon don't have a super el-cheapo range do they? just looked like the usual stuff to me.

243242 2004-06-10 06:28:00 Presentation counts more than we wish Metla . Try the Canon for your business quotes .

And yes GF, I noticed with considerable chagrin that DSE have Canon at a very good price - about $7 a ream or less . I had just purchased 100 reams at a special price of $9 ream . :_|
