243098 2004-06-09 08:30:00 Occasionally, I need to send out around 300 e-mails - end of term etc. I have just tried to send them out and have got part way through and then Outlook stopped sending. About 30 or so messages were send back by system administrator (whoever that is!!??) saying that they cannot be sent as "account limits apply"....who or what is stopping me sending emails? 243099 2004-06-09 08:45:00 sounds like an issue with your ISP, give them a ring and ask whats up. robsonde (120)
243100 2004-06-09 08:51:00 Agree with the above. Its most likely your ISP.

For instance Xtra say:

To help protect the privacy of our customers, and reduce the risk of spam, Xtra places a limit of 100 email addressees per email message. This means that if you send an email that is addressed to 100 or more people, it may not be delivered by us. Please check that the emails that you send comply with this limit, as you will not receive any notification that an email has not been delivered in such a case.

This is a valuable service in most cases, as it prevents spammers using the ISP to launch millions of emails.
