| 1364150 | 2014-01-02 23:16:00 | Perhaps you should add some more information.. do you want a cooler that does CPU? Video card? The entire system? | Agent_24 (57) | ||
| 1364151 | 2014-01-02 23:39:00 | For the CPU. | bk T (215) | ||

My desktop replacement gamer (MSI GT680) has heat issues - I went to the local hospice sale and bought one of those invalid bed tray things. It lives on that and never overheats, is easily moved and easy to use when reclining ;} |

Antec and Corsair make similar closed loop systems (some models use the same parts) and both are good, any of the single fan 12cm radiators are better than stock cooling and fairly quiet. They only perform at about the level of air coolers that cost half as much though. The large dual fan models are where the cooling gets serious. this one www.computerlounge.co.nz just hits $199 but is not quite as good as the H100i according to reviews or this one www.computerlounge.co.nz is cheaper, smaller (but deeper) and is close to the same performance as well Here's an interesting review of 4 models www.tomshardware.com they conclude the Noctua NH-D14 air cooler is better value than any of them...... |
