| 1363333 | 2013-12-22 20:18:00 | Hi All I recently did a fresh install of Win 7 on a new 1TB HD ... no problems. I used my old HD with XP Home as a slave drive and want to transfer a lot of files and folders over to the new drive ... problems. I get asked for permissions to move some, not all, files across, but even when I try to get them, I'm still getting the "pop-up". Is there any way to get permissions for ALL of the data on E: ?? Googled how to's etc and can't find anything that works that I can understand. I got full Admin rights to C: via Command Promt and thought I'd be able to do the same with E: ... nope. Any help would certainly be appreciated. Cheers all ... have a great Christmas and New Year ! |
