Well done Air NZ, a tattoo is a tattoo, and there is no excuse based on race or what it represents - lets face it, every tattoo has some meaning.

Her excuse that because tattooed people have appeared in their tv adverts so she should be allowed hers just shows she has little between the ears and Pita Sharples comments trying to say its a contradiction because the planes logo has a koro in it shows how many brain cells he has lost also.

1343699 2013-05-27 22:10:00 I bet that Air NZ will back down to pressure from the Gov, The Maori party and every bleeding heart liberal out there. Guess soon if your a Maori or PI you can have a tattoo but if your a honky you can't. I hope that Air NZ stands their ground but I hold much hope of that.. paulw (1826)

1343701 2013-05-27 22:57:00 She says tattoos are part of NZ culture, sure isn't part of mine. Cicero (40)

1343704 2013-05-28 00:19:00 I find most people who have tatoos are drug users. prefect (6291)
1343705 2013-05-28 00:31:00 The tattoo doesn't even look like much at all. Good on Air NZ for sticking to their standards. QW. (15883)
1343706 2013-05-28 00:33:00 My own employment contract also restricts jewellery, facial hair and footwear styles.

If they signed up to a contract stating "No Tattoos" then they have no grounds for complaint when that standard within the contract is enforced.

Tats are on every second Tom, Dick and Harry in my area. It's amazing the amount of work being given to tottooists, given that most of those having the work done are typically on low wages or unemployed... like the ilk that are failing to feed their kids breakfast, but can go to the tattooist every week to have a bit more added to their skin.

Priorities. Yet one more reason our welfare system needs to pay people less in cash, and the difference in food stamps.
