1343684 2013-05-27 20:36:00 I've got the above item (15 years old) and the butter conditioner fails to work completely. It ever happened like this a couple of times beforef but was 'repaired' by itself automatically after a few days off - LOL. But this time it doesn't - it's already ~ a week now and there's no sign of returning to work. :(

Any suggestions, please. I don't want to call in a serviceman just for this!

1343687 2013-05-27 21:22:00 Don't agree! Margarine has lots of chemicals(and artificial contents) in it which is bad for our body in general. Butter is more natural - has much lesser man-made chemical contents which is better for us. bk T (215)

So is the cholesterol and salt in butter.

1343691 2013-05-27 23:58:00 There is probably a vertical slider to set the temperature. It could be a long potentiometer, it may have a dirty contact, move it up and down a number of times to try and clean it. A long shot.......... Terry Porritt (14)
1343692 2013-05-28 00:13:00 Get used to it not working. When you have to renew
your fridge it will not have a butter conditioner in it.

Butter is indeed natural, if you are a calf and able to ignore the weird things that happened to Mum's milk since she last saw it. Even milk (which merely has a few dozen artificial processes before you see it) is rejected by the calf after a few weeks. Nature has taught them that drinking milk - even milk intended specifically for them - is bad if taken past early childhood.
However, you can take consolation from the enthusiastic support you will get from the meat & dairy farmers, and the entire heart by-pass industry. And, for some people it tastes good too. ;)
