1342973 2013-05-24 06:24:00 At last we are to be free of the Falcon pollution.

Someone has seen the light.

1342974 2013-05-24 06:24:00 Finally, someone has figured out how to get them going. R2x1 (4628)

1342976 2013-05-24 06:29:00 As much as I am not a ford man it is a little sad that an iconic aussie/nz car is disappearing. Only a matter of time before Holden do the same thing. hueybot3000 (3646)
1342977 2013-05-24 06:46:00 Its a sad day. as bad as a death in the family no worse.
I still haven't got over David Brown, Bedford and Morris falling by the wayside.

1342979 2013-05-24 07:40:00 Guess Holden will be next as every one of them has a $1500 AU tax payer subsidy. I have as much sympathy for the Ford Ozz workers as they did back in the late 190s when the NZ car industry was closing as Ford NZ put a proposal to the Ozzys for build Lasers here for the Australian market while Ford AU made the large cars. Their response was "Over our dead bodies will we allow Kiwi made cars into Australia"

Guess the old argument as to who won Ford or Holden has been put to rest.

Well, it wasn't as though the deaths in that family caused any surprise, everybody must have told you they would die on you.
Those weren't the only vehicles that fell by the wayside, but I suppose they did it more often than most.

Riddled with Lucas, the lot of 'em. :D

Typical Labour Union attitude, the world owes us a living.

1342982 2013-05-24 07:59:00 But...seems a bit timely the demise of the Falcon, because announced a few weeks back - the Ford Escort is returning (www.caranddriver.com), initially in China then rumoured for Europe. (www.autoexpress.co.uk) Never mind NZ, as always. kahawai chaser (3545)
