1342785 2013-05-23 11:24:00 Is this still prescription only? Probably a question for our resident chemist Renmoo. plod (107)
1342786 2013-05-24 00:29:00 I cannot answer your question plod, and do not know what you want it for. However, our local pharmacist sells a bitter cherry product that is supposedly high in melatonin, and recommended for sleep disorders. I tried it, because I had gotten into the habit of waking during the night and not being able to get back to sleep. After a few nights I stopped taking it because of the extraordinary vivid dreams I started having. No problem with vivid dreams, but for some reason they were incredibly frightening and violent. I went back to my normal dream pattern after stopping the use of the bitter cherry product, and have no desire to try it again! John H (8)

1342788 2013-05-24 01:09:00 Who needs it? There's a shocking bias in the distribution, it doesn't come in light-proof containers and there is no choice of flavour or texture.
Pffft. Stick to beer. ;)

So thought I might be able to get it on line if its not prescription only. plod (107)

Makes sense. However, I understand vivid dreaming is a known side effect - has that happened with your son when he has been using it? If you are trying to save money, you won't want to buy the bitter cherry product - way too expensive.
