| 1342786 | 2013-05-24 00:29:00 | I cannot answer your question plod, and do not know what you want it for. However, our local pharmacist sells a bitter cherry product that is supposedly high in melatonin, and recommended for sleep disorders. I tried it, because I had gotten into the habit of waking during the night and not being able to get back to sleep. After a few nights I stopped taking it because of the extraordinary vivid dreams I started having. No problem with vivid dreams, but for some reason they were incredibly frightening and violent. I went back to my normal dream pattern after stopping the use of the bitter cherry product, and have no desire to try it again! | John H (8) | ||

Makes sense. However, I understand vivid dreaming is a known side effect - has that happened with your son when he has been using it? If you are trying to save money, you won't want to buy the bitter cherry product - way too expensive. |
