I did have a run of problems with faulty units, but Harvey Norman were simply excellent and swapped over for new units each time. The last time they asked if I'd like to try a different brand and they gave me a DishTV which was worth twice what I paid for the Loranz and to be quite frank, the Loranz is the better unit. Sure it doesn't have a glitzy handbook, but it boots much faster, and is easier to program etc. So, the new decoder is now in the man-shed and 'my' Loranz is now in the lounge with Mrs T. I'd willingly abandon the frills of the DishTV model to get the simplicity and ease of operation of the Loranz. Incidentally, I cannot speak too highly of Harvey Norman's customer service (Wairau Park) it was beyond reproach and they will have my business for all appliance needs in the foreseeable future.
