Currently there's the Standard, Neon Blue, and Stupid Cupid. Random names, but they fit their description. |

| 1343471 | 2013-05-27 21:46:00 | Here is an idea. Fairfax is the parent company of Trade Me Ltd. Trade me has their message boards, which must of course be moderated and has the resources behind it. So why couldn't the moderating be done by the trade me team.Interesting, so does this mean trademe boards are going to be pre moderated as well now? If it is their policy, they should be, if its not, then this whole policy about premoderating here is rubbish. Back on track, we need a domain name people, any suggestions or do I just run with something short and sweet and easy to remember like f1help.co.nz? |

| 1343472 | 2013-05-27 21:52:00 | Splitter forums/MBs for New Zealanders have historically crashed burned and died with only the strongest surviving. The main MB is of course Trademe but because of pathetic over moderating it spawned 3 others: MB2, EOTI and Sella (since died). MB2 was set as a revenge tool to take out the narkers who got TMMB members banned, it was done by block complaints and a program which would give 20 votes to get the thread voted off. The narkers can run but not hide we will get them and there is much joy when we get them banned. EOTI was set up by Waiheke Island a prolific ex TMMB poster but it it is a pretty secretive board and you have to go through a long probation period to get into the main board. Also if you disagree on political issues Waiheke perma bans you. The site is one for sycophant posters. MB2 does not ban as such and you need to get on with people who may hold different views to yourself on some issues. For instance we have a jew (non observing) who holds similar views on race relations to myself, everyone has a laugh in the end. Good luck on your sites goodies and Ian. |

| 1343477 | 2013-05-27 23:23:00 | To put it bluntly with out chat being here i have no reason to be here..................so 10 years of being here has just gone down the gurgler.......... cos when its gone on friday......sadly so will i be gone............. you wont allow OT in pf1 so ive no reason to stay. cos i dont know anything enuf to be a helpful geek. im always one of the ones in distress here. or just hanging out in chat and google+ wont allow just my username.......... and i dont really want to give out all those other details to the world either............ :( but am willing to look at options......... I'm not a helpful geek, either but will really miss this forum, not just for the OT side of things. It's (I should say, the contributor/s) has/have been really helpful when I've asked for help or searched and found the solution to an IT query. I've just waded through all the pages on this thread and looked into those suggested links for an alternative, thanks for posting those. I'll check back later and see if the majority are heading in the same direction. Wainui, if you see this, I don't know which forum you administer on Facebook, are you able to post the name here?
