| 1363291 | 2013-12-22 05:15:00 | I have downloaded a heap of e books to my kindle e reader. I am told they are stored on the cloud. If my kindle dies or is lost can I download the books from the cloud to my new kindle? Thanks for any help |

I use my kindle + my phone & 2 tablets using the android kindle app and all log into the same account and can download any of my books - and they all sync where I'm up to (one reason to leave Wi-Fi on on the kindle when at home). If you do a system restore on an android device it registers as a new device on amazon so that can cause a minor issue, but you just log on to amazon and un-register the old device and you're golden. Helps to give devices friendly names as you set them up or they default to android - 1, android - 2 etc. |
