2013-12-21 19:08:00 | Lately the android weather widget has been incorrect. It has said that it's snowing, blowing dust or very hot . The temperature appears correct however the weather status is not. If you touch the widget it opens up with the correct weather but then when you lock your phone it goes back to the incorrect weather. I am using the news and weather widget on a Nexus S with android 4.1 jelly bean. Has anyone else had this problem?

2013-12-21 23:35:00 | Happens on my Nexus 4 as well - it was "sleet" yesterday - today seems OK - mostly cloudy. | Peter H (220) | |
2013-12-22 00:05:00 | I place more trust in the Metservice forecast web page which I download on my desktop. I have often found the weather forecast I get on my Android iphone is usually different from the Metservice forecast. :( | Bobh (5192) | |

2013-12-22 03:38:00 | My News & Weather widget was showing the incorrect weather the other day -- rain & thunderstorms vs sunshine & clear skies all day. Mind you, I am in Auckland so both forecasts could be correct! :p Haven't seen any weird forecasts since.

2013-12-22 03:58:00 | Gessssss who needs a widget Look outside- if its light its day time dark - night. Stick head out door - If it gets wet its raining If hair gets blown about or trees moving its windy, if moving a lot its very windy. If it feels warm - its sunny ( unless its Auckland) - its smog which means no wind :p :D
