| 243773 | 2004-06-12 08:19:00 | Hey, as some of you may know I recently went to purchase the Gigabyte GA-7NNXP Motherboard, only to find that it had been discontinued from NZ. This angered me, considering I had paid for it and was waiting for it to arrive in the mail ( I even downloaded the manual in preparation). Now I've been told that they can't get it. So I want to get it shipped from Australia. Anyone know any good retailers that do that? Or Importers? I know that considering the fact that I want only one, it will be hard to get a good price, but I'm hopeful... So, does anyone know a good company that I can order from and have it shipped to my address here? If they have a retail store in Melbourne, it would be dandy. |

Sounds to you wrong. I've searched high and low for computer harware retailers from Australia, and I thought that if they were good, people would know about them. This forum is about people who are in the business helping others, and so I thought that some may have experience. Most importantly, I wanted a specific motherboard, and it didn't turn up many results. Next time, please say something constructive, if I wanted random and irrelevant, and often misleading result for 40 pages I'll ask. Nice Sinclair, nice. So let me rephrase my question: Can anyone recommend a good computer hardware retailer from Australia? and google searches for "Recommended computer hardware retailers from Australia" do NOT count. |

| 243781 | 2004-06-12 10:07:00 | Haven't dealt with any australian suppliers before but Dans Data is sponsored by http://www.auspcmarket.com.au and imo dan is pretty straight up as far a reviever goes (especially if you are a fan of sardonic humour) and I can't imagine him being involved with a crap outfit whether they sponsor him or not.
