| 243576 | 2004-06-11 22:46:00 | Since updating from the MS Update CD, on start up I get the following message headed "Advanced INF Install" Error:could not locate INF File 'D.\content\Win9X\WinME\resume inf' On closing and continuing, all seems ok. What is this, is it important and where can I get the missing file from if necessary? |

| 243579 | 2004-06-11 23:55:00 | how about putting the cd in th pc and restarting just to make sure that it had finished. some update cd do things after it had restarted just so that it was tested complete. |

| 243581 | 2004-06-13 02:50:00 | Thanks for your suggestions, yes, a re-install did the trick. Had to have couple of attempts though, as kept getting different error messages, but eventually it worked ok. Just needed to be a bit more patient as things seem to come to a halt with nothing showing on the screen for up to 3 or 4 mins, but when left alone, it just carried on in its own time. Ta again. | Earnie (3226) | ||
