| 244088 | 2004-06-13 12:21:00 | Hi, I have a problem on a ME machine with OE6. For a start it will not import a *.csv address book, or allow me to create a new email message. Error messages I get are: "error importing to the address book" "there was an error opening this message. An error has occurred" I have uninstalled OE6 then oe5, I have removed the Address book from add/remove pgms and re add them all in again etc etc, but the problem remains. I can execute the *.wab file and see and export the addresses no problem at all, I have uninstalled OE in accordance with directions from the MS Knowledge base and removing registry entries. Short from formating and starting again (which I want to avoid) this problem has me stumped. Any one with anything suggestions welcomed. Richard |

| 244090 | 2004-06-14 03:44:00 | Thanks, problem resolved. After all that ran spybot and adaware which removed a ton of dialers etc. Reinstalled OE6 and everything is now ok. | richrdh (1858) | ||
