| 244009 | 2004-06-13 06:39:00 | I have an application that references a linked table. If try to modify that table I am told it is not updateable. What if anything can I do to make the linked table updateable? TIA Tony Bacon |

| 244011 | 2004-06-13 10:04:00 | Thanks johnboy. I had a look at this and tried it - couldn't get it to work, and on further reading it says it can't be used on Access databases - which the linked table is. Any other ideas? Tony B |

| 244012 | 2004-06-13 10:12:00 | Hmmm - interesting. I went back and had another look, added a primary key to the linked table as per part of the KB article, and now it all seems to be updateable with just a standard linked file. - i.e. no need for the ODBC bit, which is just as well as it was getting towards the limits of my Access skills. :) So it looks like it is all working now - thanks! |
