| 244143 | 2004-06-14 11:43:00 | > Can a moderator please lock this forum? Good and bad have mixed with clueless. (That's not to say I am not clueless either, before you start on that track....) They just need to separate a few users into a Troll forum and start bringing their their mod stick out. It looks like they've lost it, so they're throwing their toys around instead. |

| 244144 | 2004-06-14 12:07:00 | OK. I give up. I've read all the posts. It must be a generation gap or something. The one obvious factor (leaps astride hobby horse) is the bad grammar and spelling in some posts. If people do not spell correctly and use proper sentence structure then it's no suprise we have misunderstandings. There is a built-in spellchecker - use it. Apart from that, I'm mystified as to why anybody detects anger. Or the need for a moderator. |

| 244145 | 2004-06-14 12:22:00 | Got me beat too Winny. I'm personally not offended by any of the posts and hopefully nobody feels the need to be offended by mine. Have to admit though, I'm guilty of lousy spelling and bad grammar in my posts but, it seemed to fit in ok so, what the heck ;) Cheers Murray P |

| 244147 | 2004-06-14 18:50:00 | In reply to "somebody" . I agree with Growly's approach . One question at a time . It's the only way to go . On numerous occasions in the past I have asked several questions, all enumerated, and have been lucky to get half of them answered . So now if I want to buy something my primary approach is, "Do you have xx#%# in stock and can you get it on courier today?" (Two Questions) This usualy gets a prompt reply . If it doesn't, the follow up is "DON'T YOU ANSWER YOUR E-MAILS ?????" This usualy gets a reply . This is followed up by as many question as necessary to get the info . I need . One question I never ask is, What's you personal opinion of xxxx ?" This question , if asked, will invariably produce the response; "It's an excellent product, I've got one at home and I think it's wonderful" On one occasion when I received a belated reply to my first question it was accompanied by a half aoplogy "I've been too busy to answer before" . My reply was, "Sorry, I'm only trying to become a customer" . Jack |
