244430 2004-06-15 09:35:00 BTW, do you have either a third-party or the Windows XP firewall running? If not, please at least enable the Win XP firewall. Susan B (19)

244432 2004-06-15 21:10:00 PS How would I know if I have the XP firewall up ? lovelee (1294)
244433 2004-06-15 22:00:00 Start / Settings / Network Connections

It should say "Firewalled" next to or underneath (depending on whether it's in detail mode or large icons) your internet connection dial-up or adsl setting.

If not, then right click the connection, select properties, then click the advanced tab and put a tick in 'Internet Connection Firewall'

244434 2004-06-16 00:47:00 lovelee: I should have said to try using those tools in safe mode and that way they might get a chance to run instead of being knocked back by the virus/worm or whatever you have got. Susan B (19)
244435 2004-06-18 05:18:00 We did it !!!!!!!!!

Most sincere thanks to you Susan . . an awesome job you did!!!

Everything is working well AVG and the game !!

I think it caught 7 worms, munchin away in the background . .
Now my problem is how to I ensure they stay away ?

Oh and the firewall was operating . .

Chokky fish coming your way Susan . ;\
