244666 2004-06-15 03:14:00 Hi guys,
have a demo of code masters colin Mccrae demo I want to uninstall from win xp home, but whenever I go to uninstall it (either from start menu or add/remove prog) I get an error message along the lines of "colin mccrae.... Service pack 1.....gobbly gook). I will try and post a screen shot of the message box tommorow. Mean while does anyone have any suggesstions about how to uninstall this, or shall I just delete the program files (about 300mb), and forget about even uninstalling it?

244669 2004-06-15 08:15:00 You can. if all else fails........To rid your self of it...

1/ Download and install [url=http://www.321download.com/LastFreeware/dld/RegCleaner.zip]Regcleaner{/url]

2/ Open Regcleaner up and tick any boxes with the developers & Game names. then hit the "remove selected" button.

3/ On the top of the list, hit the "Uninstall menu" button. Now tick any listing for the game there and remove.

4/ On the menu, go , Tools-registry cleanup-do them all.

5/ When it is finished, top menu, Select all. Then down the bottom button, Remove selected.

You can now safely delete the program directory.

just copy and past

most of the uninstallers I have seen on the market require you to have them installed BEFORE you have the problem with uninstalling, there by they monitor everthing that is installed on your computer and can uninstall it for you .

Might have to be a reg hack?

244672 2004-06-16 03:10:00 If it wont uninstall then i see no problem with deleting the program folder and then removing the entries via regcleaner. metla (154)
