| 244452 | 2004-06-14 11:49:00 | OK, payday tomoro... and I'm buying me a new gfx card... Here are my choices... FX5700 256MB (non-ultra) FX5700 128MB (ultra) Whats best? They are both about the same price I think, but will I really see that much of a difference in performance. Whats better? 128MB at 900Mhz? Or 256MB at 500MHz? (RAMDAC speed) Is is possible that I could get VIVO and AGP 8x 1.5volt with this chip? Cheers... Willie |

| 244454 | 2004-06-14 12:08:00 | I have looked at ATI products, and would prefer them beause they are slightly cheaper however, I prefer nVidia because I have heard they are better at dual displays which is what I have just set up. Also nVidia is where my trust rests. This mx440 has served me well. > The Ultra is better, I know its better, but How much better? > and you won't use up the 128mb in textures with any games currently except perhaps Far Cry. Well, thats the thing, I would like this card to last me a while. |
