AVG doesn't - you have to manually update it or set it to update in a given number of days rather than real time updates.

244796 2004-06-15 11:29:00 I have had this problem as well!

I gave up and in the end I got a copy of the installer from a demo cd.

244798 2004-06-15 22:11:00 Just ran ad-aware, which found nothing .

I can't do a virus scan because I just uninstalled NAV 2003, so AVG could be installed . . . d`oh . . . But I did do a scan on Sunday, which found nothing either .

Spybot didn't find anything either . . .

So I am off to download again, and *fingers crossed* this time . . .

244799 2004-06-15 22:38:00 Man, it still tries to install Panorama 32...

I'm off to find if I've got a copy of that lying around somewhere, and uninstall it

244800 2004-06-15 22:41:00 Found it . . . . . deleted it, but AVG is still trying to install that . .

How do I make sure I've completely removed Panorama 32 from the computer?

244801 2004-06-16 03:33:00 Hi Caffy,

I have had this problem in the past as well, then I found out by moving the AVG setup file to another folder it would install correctly. Things like his have happened before with other installers, I don't know yet what caused it. Hopefully this will work for you.

244802 2004-06-16 06:13:00 Hey Caffy,

When you downloaded AVG from their website, they should have informed you that you will be receiing an email from them with a code. If they did not do this, then it is possible that you were downloading it from another place.

Did you get an email from Grisoft with the code? If not, then you probably don't have AVG setup on the computer.

:)
