| 245197 | 2004-06-16 10:20:00 | Ok here we go, does suse 9.1 ftp install work with nforce, I have read that it is supposed to work with nforce, provided the acpci settings are off?, I have been unable to get this to work at all, it keeps telling me that it can't find a network device any help would be much appreciated Nigel |

| 245198 | 2004-06-17 04:12:00 | run lsmod and it'll list the loaded modules. Your nforce LAN will need the appropraite modules loaded. Im not 100% on what they are, but IIRC the nforce2 audio is i8x0 or nforce-audio, so Im assuming it'll be something similar for the nforce LAN. Try booting a Knoppix CD and running lsmod and writing down the nforce-related modules it loads :-) Either that or do a little googl'ing on the subject. Hope this helps Chill. |

| 245199 | 2004-06-17 10:27:00 | well I seem to be getting the network card workinng now, for some reason I managed to miss loading the forcedeth driver anyhow my next problem is that I can't seem to find the ftp server i need the i/p address, is this the i/p address of the ftp server for jetstream games 66.98.244.52 as this is what i am entering? thanks all |
