245051 2004-06-16 04:12:00 Hi All

With the launch of the IHUG Phone service, it made we wonder, what has happened to Number portability?, are we have going to get it?. I would consider changing to IHUG, but only if i could keep my current number. ;-)

245052 2004-06-16 04:20:00 You can't. We don't have number portability agreement between the telcos. The only way is if you are willing to pay for redirection (or Customlink as they call it in Telecom). And that cost $/min as well. nzStan (440)

threaten their 'dominance', they can decide when it's time to
draw stumps.
It's their bat and their ball, so there.
