They are about communication,People use the medium to communicate anyway they please,there is no standerd that decrees emails be short and sharp,many many people use it to replace writing letters after all. |

I have friends who like it plain and straight and I have others who like to waffle and share expansively and I have have others that enjoy pictures and smilies and all that stuff. The smileys I suggested are 'spyware' free of course, but are just text representations of the yellow faces we are all used to now . . . it wasn't always like that and for me, they convey the feeling just as well as the yellow faces : -) As you so correctly stated - different people like to use different methods to communicate . Shakespeare's character Feste was the Jester in Twelfth Night, the fool, however, underneath it all he was the one who saw things as they were . I like to offer wit when I can, but are deeply interested in helping people when i can- I can be deadly serious when the need arises and like to frequent this forum due to the people here . Many different opinions, short fuses, long fuses, great knowledge on all different topics and those who want to know more, like me, you and 99% of everyone else here . Welcome to the family :D |
