| 245529 | 2004-06-17 23:28:00 | Guys My workmate has a Toshiba laptop, Celeron 2gig - 512meg Ram running Xp pro Sp1. While he was connected to our iVasp network he upgraded Acrobat. When he was done the taskbar went missing?? I assume that the upgrade caused this. Any ideas on how to undo the upgrade and/or fix the problem? Thanks Henk |

| 245530 | 2004-06-17 23:38:00 | Er...in 98se you press the Microsoft button or Ctrl+Esc to bring up the taskbar then right click on it and save taskbar on top. disclaimer...... this post may be too simple and obvious and below your evident level of expertise, please ignore if this is the case. :D |

| 245532 | 2004-06-17 23:52:00 | Marc Although I know quite a bit I will agree that I do not know everything. Therefore I ask this on this forum, as I know that there are guys like you who know a lot more than me. I have initially tried the windows button and ctrl-esc. That did not work. Also I tried moving the mouse pointer to the four sides of the screen in the hope that he just moved the bar to another position, that was not the case either. When he logs on as the administrator he can get to the task bar. However, when he logs on as himself(user), the task bar stays missing. Henk ps thanks for responding so fast! |

| 245534 | 2004-06-18 00:01:00 | Then the next thing is to do is as clean an uninstall of Acrobat as you can and see what that does. You're making me sound knowledgeable. :^O It's really what I've read here rather than done myself. |
