| 245692 | 2004-06-18 13:27:00 | You might want to make sure it isn't there because I believe if you just try to install another one over the top you can end out with more ( . dll) trouble . I'm sure there is a tool from MS for verifiying and fixing . I have had reason to replace the windows installer before but must have deleted the tools and . txt files I used, mine may not have been exactly the same issue though and it was on win2k not 98 . if I remember correctly I got them from the developers/admin's download section of MS Have a good read of those articles and see how you get on .
