246141 2004-06-21 07:55:00 hi ya,

im confused on this,
may have missed vital info here so dont jump ok?

you were using Woosh ? with what IE or Mozilla?

had probs with homepage? on IE or Mozilla? or both? reinstalling connections?
to woosh and then same with Xtra?
conections should be fine whatever browser you use, so it may be a default setting that is wrong?

which browser is your default browser now?

Mozilla should be,
Tools > options > general > = default homepage and browser.

IE should be
Tools > options > general > = homepage .????

is this what you are doing?

they just not staying at your default settings?
but your other conections are? woosh, or Xtra?

otherwise i suggest things like what you have already done is scan, spybot, adaware,

any other details ?

sorry if this is rehashing old ground, and not being very helpful.

maybe someone else can help you, so keep us posted how you get on.

246142 2004-06-21 09:49:00 Was using jetstream and decided to try woosh installed woosh on my pc and it ran fine for about three weeks.Decided to put all the pcs onto woosh though a router.I alot of problems getting the router to dial woosh so decided to flag it and try when I had more time to sort it out.Connected just the single pc back directly to the woosh modem I had no joy so I uninstalled woosh and re installed and went though the rerigistering process so the modem no's what username to connect with when trying to connect IE kept coming up with cannot find server even though it said it was trying to connect to www.xtra.co.nz but in the properties tab it said it was allways trying to connect to the url mentioned above. No matter what is set as the default address.Re connected to xtra but will only work with Mozilla or netscape which leads me to belive the fault is with IE.I can't use woosh with net scape or Mozilla now as there problems with the registration process with these browsers fault comes up as this version is not compatable even though they are the latest versions Bert (5783)

?:|, it should not matter which browser you are using to access the internet, as they all should work.....

Can you post us some screen shots of the error page in IE & any messages you get when you use net scape or Mozilla with woosh? & any other bits which might help us solve this?.

You can upload them to here: sal.neoburn.net

Also have you tried repairing IE?
