245966 2004-06-19 03:21:00 I'd say Microsoft's browser monopoly is slowly but significantly being eroded. I help administer another IT related forum, where most contributors are fairly IT savvy - the percentage of visitors using IE is only 53%, which is in stark contrast to all the other websites I manage, where the percentage of IE users is around 80 - 90%. Interesting.

On the IT forum, the other browsers are:

Mozilla 28%
Opera 7%
Firebird 4%
Safari 2%
Netscape 1%
Konqueror <1%
K-Meleon <1%
Galeon <1%
Unknown 4%

Can I ask how that was generated? From the httpd_access.log?

245968 2004-06-19 04:18:00 Some of the "IE" browsers might be others, set up to lie so that the MS sites will talk to them. :D Graham L (2)
