Bit of a farce, as Cnet news has already talked about how people had gotten around it! Article is here (news.zdnet.co.uk). It's in an article on the CDFreaks (www.cdfreaks.com) website. Lo. |

| 245984 | 2004-06-19 02:24:00 | Yeah,i went down the store a week or so ago to buy the album so i could have a play at getting around the copy protection,They didn't have it and i saw an article the other day saying holding the shiftkey down was enough to get around it. Which means even if i had bought the album the copy protection issue wouldn't have even popped up its ugly little head,i have auto-play disabled by default. I also see it went to number 1 in America,So they are ramping up the number of releases with copy protection after what they feel is a mass acceptence of the issue from the record buying public. Storm in a tea-cup maybe, |
