| 246688 | 2004-06-22 00:57:00 | HI everyone I'm a game freak and i'm new to these MOD things..but so far they have been good.. I'm sort of up with the play with computers but not that much and i need a hand. You see i've downloaded a MOD for Homeworld2 so after it was finished i opened it and had a look at the read me file..and heres how it said to install it: Installation Add -overrideBigFile to the command-line of your HW2 shortcut, and place the data folder into HW2's root folder (ie C:\Program Files\Sierra\Homeworld2\).... Ok i worked out where and what the root file is and thats fine but my beef is the part that says "command-line". Now i made a shortcut and right clicked on it and brought up the properties and theres no "command-line" so i'm thinking that the "Target" line or the "Start In" line must be the command line??... A little help would be great if any one knows.. i'd be very thankful for any help given. Thanks for your time. (I'm using XP home edition by the way) |

(I'm using XP home edition by > the way) Yes it would most likely be the Target line that need the -overrideBigFile eg (and I don't know the executable name so I assume it is called HW2.exe) The target would be C:\Program Files\Sierra\Homeworld2\HW2.exe -overrideBigFile |
