| 246675 | 2004-06-22 00:09:00 | I previously had the modem audio (initial handshake etc.) available on my speakers via the soundcard. Sometime I lost it and only have that useless squawk from the modem's transducer. How do I transfer it back to the main speakers Thanks. Yagi P.S. This is a repeat of a March query. OS is Win 2K, Modem is Motorola SM56 |

| 246677 | 2004-06-22 02:37:00 | The SM56 modems I've seen have a little program that runs in the background when the PC is booted up. Check the system tray for a modem icon and double-click it to open. On one of the tabs (sorry can't remember which one!) there is an option to use the speakers and it has a test button there as well. |
