I posted this basic message a while back and got lots of good advice, and opinions, and comments, and stuff. I decided based on what info I got to try Windows 2000. WOW. What an improvement over Windows 98!!! I have three systems. One for me, one for my son, and one for me. With w-98, keeping them all up and running was like a juggling act. My sons machine has been steady as a rock . I haven't had to touch it for, I think over a month., Thats something new for me. I love it. Thanks to all you guys for all your help and info.
