246737 2004-06-22 04:36:00 Yes, that's right,

Its nice and easy to get going although I had to try a few times before it would connect... Its brilliant, up and running perfectly with a Win32 box on the other side of the room. Lag is about 500ms and this is on Woosh.

Check it out:

Does anybody else use it?
Feel free to add:

246738 2004-06-22 04:38:00 Sorry, forgot to add my screenshot to compell all you who are thinking about it into downloading it:
sal.neoburn.net

Uses an average of 4KB/s for the voice convo :-)

246739 2004-06-22 06:28:00 Interesting. I will have a look tonight and see if I can get it to work with Fedora. Shaun Minfie (2961)
246740 2004-06-22 08:52:00 Thanks for the link,
Just put the little devil on for Win XP, it was straight forward enough, now I have to get Woosh
and LINUX talking to each other and I will be content.

You know that this is what you're after, right:
www.roaringpenguin.com

Depending on your distro it may already have it.

Google for help with setting it up, AFAIK its not hard :-)

246746 2004-06-23 05:35:00 Thanks Chill,
It will be nice to get away from Winderz and it's idiosyncrasies, I really have had a spoutful of it after two recent complete re-installs.
Cheers,
