247877 2004-06-27 04:41:00 I went to the shop to get some weed killer and found there're quite a few brands out there with prices between 9.95 to 16.95. When I looked at the back of the product, almost all of them have the same amount of the same type of active ingredients.

The question is... since they all have the same stuff inside, does it mean the cheaper product will be just as effective as those costly ones?

Anyone can recommend a weed killer?

Weed Killer

Mix 1 gallon white vinegar, 1 cup table salt, and 1 tablespoon dishwashing liquid together and spray on weeds. To do so, remove approximately 2 cups of vinegar from the jug, pour in the salt and dishwashing liquid, then return the 2 cups of vinegar to the jug. Close the lid and shake to mix.

Transfer to a spray bottle (after shaking to mix the ingredients) as needed. It works as well, if not better, than Chemicals, but is much cheaper. Be careful, it will kill whatever you spray it on!

If you go purchase vinegar, 10% acidity, 20% acid would be better, and spray it on the weeds in the heat of the full sun, you will have an effective weed killer.

How can it be organic when it uses dishwashing liquid?????

Do you know what is in most diskwashing liquids these days? They certainly are not organic compounds.

247882 2004-06-27 06:49:00 Do you have weeds in the lawn or weeds along the driveway or what? There are a number of ways to attack this problem. You should give more details. Roundup for instance will kill everything in the garden including the weeds. zqwerty (97)

And what about the chemicals in water? Organic? I don't think so .

If you don't believe me, ask Rhud Kleinpaste

247884 2004-06-27 07:19:00 Have a lock at "Round-Up" and "G360" in the Wharehouse. "G360" is half the price and does just as good a job as "Round-Up" mark.p (383)
247885 2004-06-27 07:59:00 Yep, I use the G360 stuff from the Warehouse. Works real well Jester (13)
