| 247517 | 2004-06-25 05:21:00 | I'm not sure what's going on, but my guess is it's a loose wire or something... or at least a power problem. At random intervals the computer switches off, the green 'power' light on the front of the box goes off but the red 'hard drive' light stays on. The only option to restart it is switch off and then back on at wall socket. The comp is approx 2 years old (out of warranty!), runs most of day but the switch-offs occur seemingly more in the morning after it's been off at night. Is this likely to be a loose connection to something, or a problem with the power supply inside the box? Any suggestions appreciated... even shaking it :-) |
