| 247913 | 2004-06-29 01:42:00 | I think the important thing here is what ever you use, make sure you apply at the manufactures recommended rates and for the purpose of which it was intended . More does not mean better, just more out of your pocket . As for TAG, well I would be careful of uptake with any product with terbuthylazine in it . Terbuthylazine is a residual chemical that stops seeds from germinating . Fine for driveways as long as runoff is not a problem but will make your lawn and garden very sick if it runs to these areas . There is a reason why TAG and other products is not available in smaller quantities, they are not recommended for the home gardener!! One thing to clarify- one poster made the comment that Glyphosate requires 2-3 days before rain to be affective . This is not true . 6 hours is the norm on a normal heat day . And going back to the original posters question, 360g/L of Glyphosate is the norm, and will do the same job regardless of the Label on the bottle . Remember, even though Glyphosate is resembly safe, there are many products on the shelf that home gardeners have access to that are NOT safe . Be aware of the kids playing nextdoor and the wind direction before spraying anything . |

| 247915 | 2004-06-29 09:47:00 | I know someone who used Terbuthylazine to spray a 200m downhill driveway. Got a qreat result, wife wasn't to happy about the big dead area in the lawn at the bottom of the driveway!! I had to laugh | Berryb (654) | ||
